A great puffer jacket from Ver de Terre
Unfortunately we have our early Scandinavian Winter.. but you can trust a Danish Winter coat or jacket to protect you!
We only have a few in stock. If we have sold out, we should be able to get more in.
Ver de Terre coats and jackets are as good as it gets for protection from the Nordic elements.

Rene Gruau
Somerset House is showing the work of René Gruau, who created some of the most iconic fashion images and illustrations of the 20th century.
Original illustrations for Christian Dior Parfums, vintage perfume bottles, sketches and magazines, as well as a selection of Dior Haute Couture dresses, personally chosen by John Galliano, including a special dress designed by Galliano himself, in homage to Gruau.
René Gruau’s bold lines and fluid style were perfectly in tune with the spirit of Dior, capturing the energy, elegance and audacity of the brand.

We have gone MAD for 50s-style full skirts, nipped in waists, vintage bralets and sassy pencil skirts that'll raise the temperature of any office.
Get your Mad Men dress for this seasons christmas party!

Fashion of the 1950s and early 60s was all about elegance and femininity, with iconic women like Jaqueline Kennedy epitomising the fashion period with pastel colours, boxy jackets, oversized buttons, full skirts and close-fitting waist lines.
The silhouette of this time accentuated women’s hourglass figures, and is often considered the most flattering silhouette in fashion’s history.

Get your Mad Men dress for this seasons christmas party!
Lately it seems like the whole world has 1950s (and early 1960s) fever, with Mad Men causing a flutter among fashion savants. This very tailored, feminine aesthetic is coming back into fashion in a big way!
Take inspiration from Mad Men's sassy Joan, pretty Betty and classic Peggy, to tap into fall's favourite silhouettes.Ganni

Retreat Essentials
In a couple of days I will going away for a very much needed rest and hopefully a very special experience to Ulpotha Yoga & Ayuvedic Retreat. Going through my packing list i wanted to share a couple of things.
I am bringing my favorite thrillers by Swedish authour Liza Marklund and a couple from Norwegian Author Anne Holt, after a few of hours of yoga and treatments, this will be the perfect medicine for my relax time.
I will also be bringing my new favorite beauty products from KAHINA. I first learnt about the Argan oil whilst on holiday in Morocco and about a year ago, a simple and effective organic skincare, free of harmful ingredients.
Extremely high in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and antioxidants, argan oil has been shown to neutralise free radicals that cause signs of ageing and protect the skin from environmental stressors.
Kahina Giving Beauty donates 25 percent of the profits of these products to the Berber women of Morocco who extract the oil by hand using centuries old techniques passed down through generations. The money raised will be dedicated to literacy, education, and women's rights programs.
Of course I will be bringing lots of lovely tunics from Wild Swans, I have even been lucky to get a sample of a By Malene Birger white cotton dress that will be in the shops in April 2011, just so I can test it out for you ...........
See you in 10 days

Words. Words. Words
barbara kruger's installation wraps the floor and walls with printed texts that speak directly and loudly to the spectator in a chorus of voices. same old.. but here it is.
provocative, emotionally charged statements about how people regard and treat each other disrupt the decorum of a traditional museum space, bringing the world into her work and her work into the world, she confronts stereotypes and clichés, shattering them with a rigorous critique, a generous empathy and a sharp wit.
